One: the full location
Step back far enough to show the wall, ceiling, room, exterior area, or equipment location. This helps explain access and scale.
Two: the visible condition
Take a closer photograph of the fixture, receptacle, switch, panel, cable, or equipment that prompted the call. Do not remove covers or enter an unsafe area to get the image.
Three: the equipment label
If the label is safely visible, photograph the manufacturer, model, ratings, and other identifying information. Keep the full label in focus.
Four: the electrical source
For a new appliance, fan, machine, or fixture, show the nearby outlet, switch, junction box, or panel location that may supply the work.
Five: what recently changed
If a symptom began after new equipment, construction, weather, or a change in use, include the relevant area and describe the timing in the request.
